BREAKING: Killington & Sunday River Planning Mid-October Openings

The 2015-2016 North American ski season will start in the Northeast! Killington, Vermont and Sunday River, Maine are planning to take advantage of a little natural snow and ideal snowmaking conditions over the next few days to kick off the season. 

Killington announced that they will open at 12-noon on Sunday, October 18th to Season Pass and Express Card holders and to the general public at 9:00am on Monday, October 19th. Click here for more details via Killington's website. 

The opening day for Sunday River is also planned for Monday, October 19th. They will then turn to their typical early-season schedule of only running the lifts on the weekends until mid-November. Click here for more details via Sunday River's website
