Big Sky Daily Snow

After “Snowtober”… November looks to keep things interesting!
Update
October left Big Sky with close to a 2-foot snowpack along with some perfect snowmaking temps that's resulted in some pretty wild looking snow whales out in front of the Swifty chair. Looking ahead at the long-term weather models through mid-November it looks like the Northern Rockies will continue to be in a fairly active pattern. While the models are not indicating anything big, these smaller embedded storms in a NW flow will likely drop several inches per system across Lone Mountain and vicinity. Optimistically, cumulative new snow totals of 8-12” through November 18th are possible. Temps look to be mostly warmer through the period although a cold push is possible towards the end of next week around the 8th-10th. I’ll be back in a few weeks – until then, stay safe out there and keep Ullr happy!
