Light Snow Saturday – Moderate Snow Tonight and Sunday

Update

At 8am Saturday morning no new snow fell overnight with light snow falling and a temperature of 18 degrees in the village. For today expect light snow to continue through the day with 1-3” likely by last chair and a high temperature of 27 degrees at 8000’. On the ridge tops and exposed alpine areas south winds of 10-15mph with gusts up to 20mph will be felt.

The light snow will continue into Saturday night with another 3-6” possible through the night. Another wave of moisture arrives during the day on Sunday bringing chances of an additional 2-4” by days end. Mid-mountain high temps at 8000’ look to stay in the mid-20’s on Sunday. Looking into next week a mix of sun and clouds on Monday and Tuesday with daytime highs in the low to mid 30’s at 8000’.
