Mild Temps up High

Summary

A very weak system will bring a few clouds and moderate winds to Big Sky today. Temps will be rather mild for this time of year with highs of around 32 degrees at 8500'.

Update

At 8AM its 12 above in the Village and 28 above at the top of Andesite Mountain (8800’) – both under partly cloudy skies. Yep, inversions are starting already. For today expect a mix of clouds and sun with high temps (at 8500’) around 28-32 above. Expect light to moderate SW winds 10-15mph with ridge top gusts up to 25mph.  

High-pressure strengthens over the region on Sunday for a clear and sunny day. Light south winds with high-temps at 8500’ from 30-34 degrees. Winds will be light out of the SW.   

Monday will be another mild and partly sunny day before a weak storm system encroaches into the region on Monday night. Light snow showers will linger through the day on Tuesday for a chance of 1-2” before the system moves east. High temps on Tuesday will be much cooler in the low 20’s at 8500’. The rest of the week will be dominated by high-pressure with mostly sunny days and slowly rising temps. Keep Thinking Snow!
