Clear Today - Light Snow Possible Monday Night
Summary
Sunday will be a perfect bluebird day with warm temps and light winds. A weak cold front arrives late Monday with a chance of a dusting to a few inches by Tuesday morning.
Update
Today:
At 8AM it’s 8 above in the Village and 15 above at the top of Andesite Mountain (8800’) –under crystal clear skies. For today expect a “bluebird” kind of day with ample sun, light winds and high temps (at 8500’) around 30 above.
Current Snowpack: In case you were wondering, our current snowpack stands at 84% of average across the Madison Range.
Tomorrow:
Monday starts off as a partly sunny day before clouds increase in the afternoon ahead of a weakening cold front. South winds will also be on the increase of 12-20 mph with gusts up to 35mph. High-temps at 8500’ from 30-34 degrees. Monday night, snow showers will develop but this system does not have much moisture to work with unfortunately, so I’ll put a 50/50 chance of a dusting to 2” across the resort.
Extended Forecast:
A few clouds will linger Tuesday with a stray flurry here and there along with much cooler daytime temps in the upper teens at 8500’. The rest of the week will be dominated by high-pressure with mostly clear and sunny days along with slowly rising temps. This high-pressure system will literally be blocking all storm systems up into Alaska or south to the Four Corners. Do your snow dances, and sacrifices to Ullr – seriously.
