Sunny and Mild Friday

Summary

High-pressure bringing sun and mild November temperatures for Day 2 of the new season.

Update

At 8AM its 17 above in the Village under partly cloudy skies. For today expect mostly sunny skies throughout the day with high temps (at 8500’) around 25-30 above. Also expect light west winds around 10mph with ridge top gusts up to 15mph. Overall, it's looking to be a pretty comfortable day on the mountain.

Increasing clouds with a slight chance of morning snow showers on Saturday will dissipate by noon for a partly sunny afternoon. High temps at 8500’ will be around 26-28 along with light to moderate SW winds of 10-15mph. High-pressure builds in on Sunday for a mostly sunny day. Light south winds with a high temps at 8500’ hovering in the upper 20’s.

Dry and sunny skies with a few stray clouds will dominate next week’s weather pattern unfortunately. I’m looking at a possibility of a weak system on Monday, but the models are currently low in confidence. High temps will be rising to above freezing at most locations below 8000’ by the middle of next week. Think Snow!
