Clouds Today Snow Tonight

Summary

A cold, partly cloudy day with a few morning sunny spells will transition to heavy afternoon clouds with snow flurries developing by the evening hours. Light snow will fall through the night and into Monday morning with a cumulative 3-5” possible.

Update

Today:

At 7:30AM it’s 2 degrees in the Village and 3 degrees at the top of Andesite Mountain (at 8800’). Skies are currently partly cloudy over Lone and Andesite Mountains.  

Today expect a mostly cloudy and cold day with some morning sunny breaks.  After a very cold morning look for mid-mountain (8500’) high temperatures of 15 degrees. Winds will be light to moderate out of the S/SW at 15mph with ridge top gusts to 25mph.

Monday and the Extended Forecast:

The next wave of moisture arrives Sunday evening with 1-2” likely overnight. Light snow continues on Monday morning with another 2-4”. Snow showers now look to clear out of the region Monday night. Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry and sunny with seasonal high temps in the upper teens at 8500’. Another storm system is prognosed to affect the region on Thursday with measurable snow likely before high-pressure returns on Friday. Keep doing your snow dances.
