The Best Kind of Monday

Summary

3” fell on the brand new Andesite Mountain snow stake last night and expect another inch by noon before the system moves out of the region. Another small storm rolls through Thursday.

Update

Today:

At 7:30AM it’s 14 degrees in the Village and 10 degrees at the top of Andesite Mountain (at 8800’) where 3” fell last night. Skies are currently cloudy with light snow falling over Lone and Andesite Mountains.  

Today expect a cold morning with off and on snow show showers depositing another inch across the resort by 1PM. Drying skies, but clouds will stick around for the afternoon hours with mid-mountain (8500’) high temperatures of 18 degrees. Winds will be light out of the W/NW at 10mph.  

Extended Forecast:

Tuesday and Wednesday look mainly dry and sunny with seasonal high temps in the upper teens at 8500’. Another weak storm system will roll through SW Montana on Thursday with chances of 2-4” before high-pressure returns on Friday. The upcoming weekend has the potential to be stormy. Stay tuned.
