Stormy Week Ahead
Summary
24-hour reported snowfall of 2 inches at Headwaters and 1 inch at Andesite snow stakes. Look for another 2 to 4 inches through last chair today with the brunt of the storm coming Monday night with an additional 4 to 6 inches. Snow showers Tuesday could bring another 1 to 3. A third storm is poised for Wednesday night into Thursday as well.

Today:
At 8:00AM it’s 21 degree in the Village and 15 degrees at the 8800’ level of Andesite Mountain. 2 inches of new snow fell in the past 24-hours of which 2 inches fell overnight. Currently the skies are cloudy with light snow falling over Lone and Andesite mountains. Current winds at the top of Andesite are blowing from the South at 6 mph with a recent gust to 16 mph.
Today expect snow with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches likely. Winds will be blowing out of the SW at 10 to 15 mph. High temperatures across the upper mountain locations (at 9000’) will be around 23 degrees.
Extended Forecast:
Snow continues Monday night into Tuesday as another wave of Pacific moisture brings chances of 5 to 10 inches through Tuesday afternoon. A brief respite on Wednesday, then another system rolls through Wednesday night into Thursday with 3 to 6 inches possible. It appears the skies will mostly clear out through this weekend.
