Update

Today:

At 7:00AM it’s 18 degree in the Village and 14 degrees at the 8800’ level of Andesite Mountain. 4 inches of new snow fell in the past 24-hours of which 2 inches fell overnight. Currently the skies are cloudy with light snow falling over Lone and Andesite mountains. Current winds at the top of Andesite are blowing from the NW at 5 mph with a recent gust to 10 mph.

Today expect light snow to continue with accumulations of 1 to 3 inches likely. Winds will be blowing out of the N/NW at 10 to 15 mph with ridgetop gusts to 25 mph. High temperatures across the upper mountain locations (at 9000’) will be around 20 degrees.

Extended Forecast:

A brief respite on Wednesday with partly sunny skies to start the day with increasing clouds by noon and a few snow showers possible during the afternoon. The next storm system brings snow Wednesday night into Thursday with 3 to 6 inches possible. Residual snow showers could bring another inch or two Thursday night as well. It appears the skies will mostly clear out through this  weekend although a slight chance of snow showers is possible Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.
