Atmospheric River is aimed at the Sierra - 2-4 feet Cascades and Sierra, 1-2 feet in the Rockies as chases will be deep this week. There is little not to like for November POW.

Summary

It's nearly a perfect storm as heavy snow will be falling from the Cascades through the Sierra before swooping East over the central Rockies. The Pacific Northwest and Sierra are sure bets for 2-4 feet of snow in the next 3 days with with good odds of 12-15 inches in some isolated areas of the Rockies later this week. Resorts are opening this week so stay tuned to social media and websites to chase them down (Some hints on this post). Many resorts that have not announced openings plan on doing so in the next 24 hours.
