Finally the chase forecast includes a good dump for Utah and Colorado with 12-15 inches in many spots
Summary
The Sierra is in the headlines for today with this post focused on some good news for Utah and Colorado. Wyoming continues to score with an additional 12-15 inches through Friday while action in the central Rockies really picks up Friday/Saturday. Many spots of the Wasatch and the Colorado mountains will be reporting 9-17 inches by Saturday morning. NOTEWORTHY dump where over 68 inches has fallen at Whistler in the past week with an early opening announced for tomorrow November 17! The Tetons nabbed another 7 inches last night (More to come) and Sun Valley scored an excess of 10 inches per our forecast from a few days ago. The next storm starts out with high snow levels before crashing to the Valley floors in the Rockies Friday/Saturday.
