What happened on Wednesday morning?

Summary

On Wednesday morning, some mountains received an unexpected 5-7 inches, and we'll talk about why we saw the surprise. Otherwise, Thursday morning's story is cold temperatures in the single digits with highs in the 20s (good for snowmaking). Looking ahead, there might not be much (or any) snow in the next 7-10 days, though snowmaking should be able to continue.
