Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Update
Tuesday felt more comfortable with sunny skies and afternoon temperatures reaching the low 20s.
The upcoming storm is still on track and, compared to previous forecasts, could start a little earlier and drop a little more snow.
At Wednesday sunrise I already see clouds lowering and we’ll see waves of snow throughout the day. The last few hours of the day could offer soft snow with 1-3 inches of accumulation.
Between Wednesday's last chair and Thursday's first chair, the majority of the snow should fall. Based on the model’s consistency and the latest small increase in the forecast, I’ll go with 2-5 inches on Wednesday night.
Thursday morning should offer fun powder with the snow report showing 3-8 inches.
For Thursday and Thursday night, we’ll continue to see snow showers with at least a few inches of accumulation, mostly during the afternoon and through the early evening.
On Thursday night, most of the accumulating snow will end by midnight. This means that while Friday’s morning snow report may not be as deep as Thursday morning, the powder on Friday morning could be even softer thanks to the previous ~36 hours of snowfall.
Friday’s weather should be chilly, cloudy, and include a few lingering light snow showers.
Saturday should be sunny and warmer.
I am still keeping an eye on additional storms from January 5-6 and around January 9. Then a fantastic pattern of stormy and cool weather should set up over the western United States on or just after January 10 and odds are high that this should bring us multiple chances for snow for at least one week.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
