Friday freshies at Copper!

Summary

Thursday afternoon and evening’s showers delivered 3 inches of new snow, so there will be freshies to enjoy on Friday morning.

Short Term Forecast

Thursday started dry with sunshine, and then showers arrived and stuck around through all of Thursday afternoon and continued into early Thursday evening.

It looked like the most likely outcome would be that these showers would drop a few inches of snow, and this is what happened with about 1 inch accumulating on Thursday afternoon and an additional 2 inches accumulating on Thursday evening. Enjoy this new snow now on Friday morning!

On Friday, once again we’ll start out with sunshine, then showers will develop starting around noon and should continue into the early evening. And once again, my expectations are low with just a few inches in the forecast, but as always, keep an eye on the snow stake cam to see if we get a little more than this.

Extended Forecast

On Saturday, our weather will be dry, partly sunny, and high temperatures will be in the 30s to low 40s.

Then on Sunday, which is closing day, we’ll see more sunshine, and temperatures will be warm with highs in the 40s to low 50s. Winds will be gusty during the day with speeds of 35-50mph at the summit.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
