Update

Monday morning is starting off as a beauty of a day with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 20s. However, we are in a stormy weather pattern, so dry weather will not last for long. Expect clouds to increase through the day with showers possible by late afternoon. Then we should see a period of snow on Monday night and will likely wake up to 1-3 inches of new snow.

Tuesday will be a mixed day with snow showers. If we’re lucky, heavier showers will focus on Copper and could drop 3-4+ inches of snow. If we don’t see the heavier showers, than expect perhaps an inch or two. On Tuesday night, heavy snow will develop over the eastern mountains of Colorado, and may reach just far enough west to bring a few more inches to Copper. The average of many models shows about 2-4 additional inches on Tuesday night, so there should be soft turns on Wednesday morning.

Clouds should begin to clear on Wednesday mid-morning with more sunshine throughout the day. Thursday should also be dry and mostly sunny, then the next storm will bring snow from Thursday night through Saturday evening with another 3-6+ inches likely for Copper. After that, yet another storm will likely bring snow next Monday and Tuesday.
