Update

We received 2 inches on Monday night, which was in line with what I expected.

Now on Tuesday, I expect 2-4 inches of snow, with another 2-4 inches on Tuesday night. This statement masks the uncertainty in the forecast, though. As the storm tracks to our east, Copper will see a wind direction from the north and east and these directions are not favorable for heavy snow. However, pieces of energy will rotate around the storm and cross Colorado, and if or when these pieces of energy track over Copper, we could see a period of heavier snow even if the wind direction is not favorable.

One of these pieces of energy hit Copper on Tuesday morning, dropping an additional 2-3 inches between about 6am and 8am, and if we are lucky and get a few more pieces of energy to hit Copper, than amounts will be higher than my 2-4 inch forecasts.

Also, temperatures should cool on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, so the quality of the powder that falls later in the storm could be a bit fluffier.

Following this storm, Wednesday and Thursday should be dry, then we have two more storms on the radar. The first will bring maybe 3-6 inches on Friday into Saturday, and the second storm should arrive sometime between April 3-5.
