Summary

A new wet and warm storm system moved into Northern Idaho ski areas on Friday, bringing 1-2 inches of new snow overnight. Warm temperatures are forecast on Friday as snow levels climb from 6,600 feet to 8,000 feet. Snow accumulations are getting down-graded depending on temperature and snow level. The storm cools down Saturday, bringing snow levels down to 5,500 feet, and there's a better chance of snow with high temperatures in the 34-37 degree range. Temperatures plunge Saturday night as a cold front moves through. There's a chance of slight snow at Southern Idaho ski areas on Friday, and sunny skies and high temperatures in the high 30s are forecast in most locations on Saturday for some spring-like conditions in the afternoon. A new quick-moving storm system moves through Southern Idaho on Saturday night to bring a potential for 1-3 inches of new snow on Super Bowl Sunday. Things dry out at N. Idaho resorts on Sunday afternoon, and temperatures will cool off statewide.
