Mostly sunny statewide Thursday with spring-like temps - Enjoy!

Summary

Sunny skies and very warm, spring-like temperatures will prevail Thursday at Idaho's ski areas with high temperatures in the 40s in most locations to 50 degrees at Bogus Basin! Wow! Time your arrival to allow the snow to soften up for the best skiing/riding and follow the sun around the mountain! A new storm system comes to Idaho on Friday night/Saturday, bringing the potential for a great powder day at select locations, with an upside potential of 6-9 inches at Schweitzer, 3-6 at Silver and Lookout, and 5 inches at Brundage Mountain. Snow quantities fall as you move south, with 1-2 inches expected at Tamarack, Bogus Basin, Sun Valley, Pomerelle, Magic Mountain and Pebble Creek. Snow levels are expected to drop rapidly Friday night as the storm system moves in, so most of the precipitation falling Saturday should be in the form of snow.
