Fresh snow on Monday; sunshine coming Tuesday statewide

Summary

Fresh snow fell overnight in most locations, with 5 inches of new at Brundage Mountain, and 6-7 inches of new snow in the last 24-48 hours at Bogus Basin, Tamarack, Schweitzer, Silver, Lookout and several inches at Sun Valley, Pomerelle and Pebble Creek. The new snow will create excellent carving conditions with a soft cushion on top of groomed runs. Sunshine is forecast on Monday at N. Idaho resorts, and snow showers will linger at S. Idaho resorts, with 1-4 inches of new snow expected to fall on Monday. Sunshine reappears on Tuesday in most locations and bluebird conditions will prevail through Friday in S. Idaho, with high temperatures reaching into the 40s.
