Rain clears and snow squalls develop
Summary
Rain clears the region Monday morning as cold air quickly moves in from the north. Brief heavy snow bands and squalls will develop in the northern Mid-Atlantic Monday afternoon and move south throughout the evening. A quick inch or two of snow accumulations with more in the north is expected. The rest of the week looks dry with a few chances of lake-effect snow up north.
