Equal Opportunity Storm Track

Summary

Multiple storms will target the Collective Resorts through the final week of November and into the first few days of December. Expect plenty of powder skiing, along with additional terrain openings.

Short Term Forecast

The snow outlook for the final week of November doesn't get much better.

It will consist of an "equal opportunity" storm track for the Collective Resorts, with multiple chances to catch early-season powder turns. The graphic below depicts just how good it will be over the next 7 days from coast-to-coast.

Sugarbush will kick off the week with a strong storm Monday night (11/26) into Tuesday morning (11/27), with additional chances for snow through Wednesday (11/28). Mixed precipitation and heavy/wet snow will likely be encountered but Tuesday and Wednesday morning should offer fun turns.

The action will then shift back to the West from Wednesday through Friday (11/30).

Multiple rounds of snow will bring DEEP accumulations to Squaw Valley and Mammoth Wednesday into Thursday and again on Saturday (12/1).

Further east, the Collective Resorts in Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado will also be watching the second half of the week for the snow to stack up.

Look for light to moderate totals at Jackson Hole Tuesday morning into Wednesday and additional chances for snow through Sunday (12/2).

For Utah, snow will return beginning on Tuesday but according to Utah Forecaster Evan Thayer, Friday (11/30) could be the best day for powder at Alta and Snowbird

Colorado will be eyeing a weak storm Wednesday into Thursday (11/29) before we turn our full attention to Friday and Saturday. Aspen Highlands will be opening on Saturday (12/1), which is a week ahead of schedule! Highland Bowl could be the place to be for the upcoming weekend.

Extended Forecast

Looking ahead to next week (12/3-12/7), cool temperatures will settle in across much of the United States and we'll be keeping an eye on additional chances for snow across Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.

Overall, we couldn't ask for a better forecast as many areas continue to open additional terrain into early-December.

Thanks for reading and look for our next update on Monday, December 3rd!
