Update

Many resorts are closed to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Please check each resort's website or social media for the latest information.

Even though most ski resorts are likely closed for an extended period of time, the team at OpenSnow will continue to provide daily updates. The weather never stops!

Tahoe is the main story to kick off this week's update as they are BURIED with 3-5 FEET at lake level and over 6 FEET on the mountain since the storm arrived on Saturday.

The storm continues to rage on with another 1-2 FEET through Monday night. Mammoth and Squaw Alpine will remain closed indefinitely but we'll continue to monitor the situation.

Looking elsewhere, the storm will exit California on Tuesday and slowly push east into the Intermountain West through Thursday. Look for periods of moderate to heavy snow in Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico.

Periods of light snow will then linger through the weekend of March 21st and 22nd, followed by a stronger storm for the West as we head into the week of March 23rd.

Stay tuned to our 1-10 day forecasts for all of the Mountain Collective destinations and our team of local forecasters for the latest updates.

Thank you so much for your continued support!

Next update on Monday, March 23rd.
