2019-2020 Season Recap

Update

Due to early resort closures, this will be my final update for the 2019-2020 season.

Outside of California, this was an above-average year for nearly every destination.

One particular cycle that stands out was the first two weeks of January. Jackson Hole received 126 inches (10+ FEET!) during the two-week period and ended the month of January with over 14 FEET of snow.

Here's a look at the snowpack compared to the 30-year average for every Mountain Collective resort located in the Western US and Canada as of Monday, March 23rd.

Alpine Meadows: 64%

Alta: 113%

Arapahoe Basin: 110%

Aspen Highlands: 106%

Aspen Mountain: 112%

Banff Sunshine: 125%

Big Sky: 113%

Buttermilk: 107%

Jackson Hole: 112%

Lake Louise: 129%

Mammoth: 53%

Revelstoke: 127%

Snowbird: 117%

Snowmass: 100%

Squaw Valley: 64%

Taos: 136%
