November Powder

Summary

While some resorts did not receive as much snow as originally anticipated, New England as a whole still received several inches of new snow overnight. Resorts all over New England are reporting anywhere from 1 to 7 inches of snow this morning, making it a rather superb opening day for many. Accumulations are expected to continue throughout the day, particularly due to upslope snow occuring on Friday evening into Saturday. Storm totals will range from 6-9” across the region, and a few areas to the north could see excess of a foot. Expect a chance for more snow early next week as another wave of low pressure moves over the New England region, building an even better early season snowpack. We are closely monitoring this event and the potential for rain late in the week.
