Rain Once Again, Snow on the Backside
Summary
Rain makes its return to the Northeast today and into Saturday. High winds will persist through most of the day today, putting most summit access lifts on wind hold. Light scattered rain showers will start out the day on Saturday, with a quick transition to snow as cold air spills in from the north. Most resorts will see less than an inch of snow, while northern Vermont will get the jackpot. Conditions settle by Sunday, with another chance for some light accumulations on Christmas Eve. High pressure regains control during the work week, with a chance for some more snow by next weekend.
