By Plymouth State, Forecasters Posted 5 years ago December 26, 2018
High pressure closes out the week, Storm on the way
Summary
High pressure remains in control of the region today and into Thursday. Moderate winds and cold temperatures today will give way to a surge of warm air associated with low pressure to the west by Thursday afternoon. A low pressure system will impact the region on Friday, bringing a mixed bag of precipitation during the morning hours and transitioning to rain by the afternoon. Upslope snow showers may leave areas in northern Vermont with light accumulations as the system departs before high pressure regains control by the end of the weekend.
