Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

On Sunday morning we are waking up to a bank of low clouds covering the sky and temperatures ranging from 37F at the base to 22F at the summit. I am hopeful that some sun will be able to sneak through the clouds today.

A weak storm will skip across northern Colorado on Sunday night and it should drop a quick 1-3 inches of snow by the first chair on Monday morning. This storm will be colder than the previous systems, so we should see snowflakes down to the base.

Following drier weather on Monday, then next system will track across northern New Mexico on Monday night and Tuesday. This storm track is too far south to bring significant snow to Steamboat, so I expect light amounts from Monday evening through Tuesday evening.

Then Wednesday through Saturday will be sunny, dry, and warmer each day. Following this spring-time weather, a series of storms could bring snow back to Colorado between April 9-12.
