Diagnosing Snow Chances...

Summary

Sunny and cold today with highs near 30 degrees. Winds will gust up to 60 mph on the mountain tops. For the weekend sunny with highs in the upper 30's on the upper mountains to mid 40's down at lake level. Mountain top winds could gust to 30 mph each day. Sunday night a weak system could move through and bring a few flakes of snow. Christmas Day should be sunny. Then for next Tuesday we could see another weak system that could bring a few flakes up to a coating of snow. That system could also bring some colder air. Wednesday and Thursday next week look to be dry. Then going into the weekend of the 29th some model runs show the possibility of a storm.
