Monday

Monday will begin with dry weather and cooler temperatures, and readings will be in the teens up on the mountain.

On Monday midday, afternoon, and evening, a storm will be sliding from north to south across Colorado and will deliver snow. The latest forecasts have increased totals a bit, so a few inches seems likely, probably in the general range of 1-4 inches. This will not be a significant storm, but it should refresh the hill with some softer turns during Monday afternoon. Dress warmly on Monday as temperatures will drop from the teens into the single digits.

Tuesday

Tuesday morning will be cold (near 0°F) with clearing skies. The snow that fell on Monday afternoon/evening should somewhat soften conditions on Tuesday morning. Otherwise, the day should be mostly sunny with a high of around 10°F.

Wednesday & Thursday

Wednesday and Thursday will be partly cloudy with times of thin clouds filtering the sunshine, and temperatures will be warmer with daytime highs in the upper 20s.

Friday

Our next chance for snow will be on Thursday night into Friday morning and my early snow total estimate is in the 1-6 inch range. So, not a big storm, but maybe a nice little refresh on Friday morning.

Longer Range

The weather pattern through Christmas will not be favorable for significant storms, but there will be chances for some snow, likely around Sunday, December 15, and again around Wednesday, December 18. We have a solid base and the low sun angle of December will continue to preserve our snowpack, so we're in an okay spot for December, despite the likely lack of significant snowfall during the month, and hopefully we'll see a few refreshes between now and Christmas/Chanukkah.
