Terrain update!

Friday - Lifts 7, 8, and 9 opened for the season
Saturday - Lifts 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 will open for the season

Weatherwise…

Saturday will be similar to Friday with cooler temperatures at the base in the morning, and then mostly sunny skies during the day with a high temperature in the mid-30s.

Sunday will also bring dry weather, though more clouds will filter the sunshine during the day, and the high temperature will be in the 30s.

Next Week

Next week, multiple storms from the Pacific Northwest should move through Colorado with a respectable total snowfall of potentially 5-10+ inches.

While no single storm in this series will likely bring significant/deep snow, the combination of light-to-moderate snow totals across 5+ days should create softer conditions.

• Monday/Tuesday (Dec 23-24). A weak storm could bring a few flakes on Monday or Monday night, but most snow should stay to the north of Telluride.
  
  
• Wednesday (Dec 25). A stronger storm should track over southern Colorado and may deliver 2-4 inches of accumulation on Wednesday and Wednesday evening.
  
  
• Friday/Saturday (Dec 27-28). A single storm or multiple weaker storms may bring moderate snow totals, but the latest forecast data continues to trend a little lower. 
  
  
• Tuesday (Dec 31). This storm might be strong and bring cold air, but moisture could be lacking and the track could stay to the north, leading to just lower snow totals.

I will continue to dial in the details of next week's snowfall, so stay tuned. Regardless of the amount of snow, at least some snow is better than no snow, and it will be good to see the flakes.
