US and Canada Daily Snow

Head to the northwest!
Summary
A series of storms should bring snow to the northwestern US and western Canada through mid-March. Multiple storms and nearly continuous snow should create deep powder conditions for many, many mountains in this region!
Short Term Forecast
Let’s start with the last three days of February. A storm will track over the northwest and then will hit the central Rockies (UT, CO) and the southwest (AZ, NM). There should be good powder days for these areas on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Then during the end of the week, the storm track will shift to favor the northwest and the northeast.
Looking ahead to the upcoming weekend, the northwest will stay in the storm track and snow will continue to pile up in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and British Columbia.
So, if you’re looking for nearly continuous snowfall this week, head to the northwest!
Extended Forecast
The longer-range models, out through March 7-11, show that average to slightly below average temperatures will continue over the northwest. This should mean that they will receive even more snow through mid-March, but snow levels could rise a bit as warmer air works into the area.
The overall storm track will likely shift by March 10-15, bringing snow back to the central Rockies, but this shift is too far away for me to provide a confident, detailed forecast.
