Monday was the final warm and dry day of this springtime cycle as highs climbed into the 40s and low 50s.

Now on Tuesday morning, temperatures are in the upper 20s to mid-30s and they will likely be steady or even drop a little bit through the day. We could see a few showers today though snow accumulation should be minimal.

From late Tuesday night through Wednesday mid-morning, we should see a round of snow with 1-5 inches of accumulation. If this snowfall pans out, Wednesday morning will likely offer a little bit of powder. Aside from the snow, Wednesday’s weather will be chilly with high temperatures in the 30s.

Thursday will be dry and sunny with temperatures rising to close to 40 degrees.

Friday should stay dry, but a storm tracking to our north could drop temperatures back into the 30s.

Saturday will also be dry and the temperature whiplash will hit again as readings should warm back to close to 40 degrees.

On Sunday, it’s possible that another storm tracking to our north could cool temperatures back into the 30s and there will also be a low chance for a few snowflakes.

Looking ahead to next week, April 12-16, the longer-range models are in a little more agreement that we’ll see chances for snow across a few days, likely during the middle of the week. I am keeping an eye on this time as we might be able to sneak out late-season powder days, but the storm is still not quite a lock.
