Next snow arrives on Tuesday

Summary

Sunday and Monday will be sunny with temperatures in the 20s, then we should see snow return on Tuesday morning.

Update

Saturday was a beautiful day with sunny skies and high temperatures in the 20s.

Sunday and Monday will be copies of Saturday's weather with sunny skies and high temperatures in the 20s. Apply sunscreen and enjoy!

The next storm will arrive on Tuesday morning. This storm will be pretty strong, bring temperatures that are conducive to fluffy snow, yet it will have a meager amount of moisture, which will limit our snow totals. I expect that our best chance for snow to fall will be on Tuesday starting around sunrise and ending around midday or early afternoon. Accumulations will likely be in the 2-5 inch range and the softest turns should be on Tuesday morning through midday.

Looking ahead, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be dry with cooler temperatures in the teens on Wednesday and Thursday and warmer temperatures in the 20s on Friday and Saturday. Our only chance for snow during these days will be a few flakes possible on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

As we end the month, there will be a low chance for snow on Sunday, January 30.

Then as we start February, there will be a high chance for significant snow sometime between Tuesday, February 1, and Friday, February 4. When we are closer to these dates, we'll be able to figure out more details about which day or days could bring the most snow, and how much.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
