Powder on Saturday, then sunshine on Sunday

Summary

Friday will start with dry weather, then snow will fall from Friday afternoon through Saturday. On Sunday, we will flip back to dry, sunny, and warmer weather.

Update

Thursday was a cold day with temperatures in the single digits and teens. We saw dry weather in the morning, then snow showers fell on Thursday afternoon and Thursday night and delivered about 2 inches of accumulation at mid-mountain.

Friday morning still feels like winter with a temperature in the single digits and teens, though at least a little sun is shining this morning, which will make it feel a little warmer.

From Friday mid-afternoon through Friday night, the next storm will arrive and we should see 4-8+ inches of snow by Saturday morning.

On Saturday, additional snow showers with light accumulations will occur during the day, and this means that Saturday should offer some powder in the morning (enough to cover up the hard base underneath? unlikely, but maybe!) and it'll feel chilly with cloudy skies and a high temperature in the teens to low 20s.

Sunday will then bring a break in the storms. It will be a sunny day with dry weather and a high temperature in the 30s.

For next week, following warm and dry weather on Monday, we will see one storm from Monday afternoon through Wednesday, then we could see another storm later in the week from Friday into Saturday (April 28-29).
