Clear Conditions with Chilly Mornings - Get used to it

Summary

Sunny skies and cold temps this AM will make way for sunny skies with high temps in the mid-20's this afternoon at 8500'.

Update

Today:

At 7:30AM it’s 7 degrees in the Village and 7 degrees at the top of Andesite Mountain (8800’. Observed skies are currently clear. Sunny skies will dominate from sunrise to sunset today with light N/NE winds making things a bit chilly this morning. Winds flip over to S/SE this afternoon warming things into the mid-20’s by mid-afternoon (at 8500’). With the Bowl now open and more terrain supposedly opening today, it should be a beautiful day to ride or ski or both. And…remember to mask up.

Thursday & the Extended Forecast:

The rest of the week will be dominated by a strong high-pressure system over the PNW with clear and sunny days through next Monday. Daytime high temps at 8500’ will be advancing above freezing on Thursday. Look for these daytime highs to stay in the mid to upper 30’s daily through the weekend. Finally, a slight weather pattern change is being portrayed by most weather models for the middle of next week. It’s going to be a long wait unfortunately.
