Streak of Bluebird Days to End, Snowy Pattern Next Week
Summary
Bluebird days of chilly mornings and warm sunny afternoons will come to an end by the middle of next week when a series of storms encroach into the region triggering a weather pattern change.
Update
Today:
Good morning! Currently at 6AM it’s 10 degrees in the Village and 25 degrees at the top of Andesite Mountain (8800’) – air inversions are definitely back. Skies are currently clear.
Sunny skies will rule the roost once again today making it a super day to rip some of the many groomers corduroyed last night. Winds will be light out of the S/SW ensuring a quick warm up by late morning to the upper 20’s (at 8500’). Sunny afternoon mid-mountain high temps will be around 32-34 degrees. Get out there and enjoy the beauty that is Big Sky and…yep, wear a mask!
Friday & the Extended Forecast:
Friday, along with the entire weekend, will continue to be dry and clear with sunny days and warm afternoon temps. Daytime high temps at 8500’ will be advancing to several degrees above freezing daily until around Tuesday. Finally, a weather pattern shift to more of a December one is on tap for the middle of next week. Make sure to grill an extra bison burger for Ullr. Think snow.
