Saturday Powder Day for Many

Summary

Our next storm remains on track for Friday afternoon through Saturday, with many areas likely to enjoy a nice powder day on Saturday. The Coast Range and Southern Interior will likely see the heaviest amounts, but the North Columbias should see respectable amounts as well. Sunday and Monday are looking dry and sunny with a gradual warming trend as 1,500-meter temperatures approach 0C across the Coast Range on Monday and -5C across the Interior. There are some changes in store for the longer-range outlook. Tuesday’s storm is trending weaker, but models are now indicating (and are in fairly good agreement) that a moderate to strong storm could potentially arrive from the north around Thursday, February 13th.
