Drying out for a few days

Summary

We’re entering a quiet stretch of weather over the next several days, but the pattern will turn active again toward the end of the week and into the weekend of February 15th-16th. Sunny skies and dry conditions can be expected on Sunday and Monday before a weak disturbance brings light snow to portions of the Interior on Tuesday. Dry and sunny weather will return on Wednesday, then a storm will arrive on Thursday and Friday, which should bring good snow to most areas. The extended range looks active with another storm on the weekend of February 15th-16th, and additional storms will be possible beyond the 16th as well.
