Light snow Tuesday, next storm cycle begins Thursday

Summary

Light snow is falling across portions of the Interior on Tuesday, favoring the North/Central Columbias with up to several centimeters recorded so far at Revelstoke. Otherwise, a relatively quiet pattern will persist through Wednesday before the pattern turns active late this week. The first storm will bring snow to all areas on Thursday through Thursday night, with light snow lingering into Friday afternoon. The next storm will then bring more snow from Friday night through Saturday afternoon, with perhaps a stronger storm to follow on Saturday night and Sunday. The pattern then looks to remain active through most if not all of next week as well (February 17th and beyond).
