Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Update

Thursday’s snow was fun with 9 inches on the morning report. Conditions were fluffy on top and the base was pretty soft. I hope that you enjoyed the day!

On Thursday night, the mid-mountain snow stake shows that an additional 1 inch accumulated.

Now on Friday morning at 600am, it looks like there might be a few flakes in the air and it’s possible that we could see snow showers through the day on Friday (low confidence) and temperatures will stay in the teens with mostly cloudy skies (high confidence).

Saturday will be sunny and warmer with high temperatures likely making it into the 30s.

Sunday could bring a few more clouds and temperatures will cool back into the 20s.

The next chance for snow will start on Sunday at around sunset and snow should continue through Monday evening. I’ll stick with my 2-5 inch forecast and we’ll probably find fun low-end powder amounts across the mountain on Monday.

Then Tuesday and Wednesday should be dry before the next storm brings snow on Thursday and Friday. Another storm is possible around Sunday and Monday (January 12-13) and it’s likely that we’ll see additional storms after the 13th as an active pattern continues over the western US.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
