Snow showers for northern New England, colder temperatures return
Summary
Lingering snow showers are in store for northern New England today. Resorts in northern New York and Vermont could see 1-3” of new snow from upslope showers, with localized areas of 3-5”. Temperatures drop into the teens - lower 20s on Saturday afternoon into Sunday as high pressure builds over the region. High pressure quickly slides offshore through Monday, giving way to another area of low pressure on Tuesday. This storm may bring a mix of snow and rain to the mountains of northern New England. After the storm departs, weak high pressure will dominate the remainder of the week.
