Waiting for the next storm

Summary

We could see a few flakes this week, though it will be a while until our next significant storm.

Update

Saturday was mostly sunny with the opening of a little bit of new terrain. We saw a few flakes around, but the snow stake didn't pick up any real accumulation.

On Sunday and Monday, high temperatures will be in the teens and 20s, and we will stay dry as snow showers hang around Colorado's northern mountains.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will also have high temperatures in the 20s, and there is a decent chance for snow showers and a little bit of snow accumulation each day as a storm tracks well to the south of Colorado.

From Friday through early the following week, high temperatures will warm into the 30s and we will likely see no new snow.

The next chance for snow will wait until sometime around or after December 20th. Let's hope that the final 10 days of the month produce a lot more snow than the middle 10 days of the month:-)
