Still snow from coast-to-coast, including a few stronger storms

Summary

Temperatures are warming across North America as we head into spring, but there will still be powder days to enjoy as a parade of storms will continue to move across Canada and the United States through mid-April.

Short Term Forecast

The Forecast for Thursday 4/4– Friday 4/5

Thursday looks like a drier day across North America. Friday is when the action starts up with one storm pushing into the west coast and another system bringing snow to the Northeast.

The Forecast for Saturday 4/6– Sunday 4/7

The storms from Friday will continue through the weekend, with significant snow possible along the west coast and lingering snow showers over northern New England.

Extended Forecast

The Outlook for Monday 4/8 – Friday 4/12

I am getting more excited about snow during next week in the western United States. All major weather forecast models are showing a colder and stronger storm, with significant snow and potential powder days during the middle of the week. Stay tuned for updates – this could be fun!

Thanks for reading and look for the next forecast on Monday, April 8.
